Cleaning instructions
We recommend cleaning it by hand. However, the body of the bottle can be cleaned in a standard household dishwasher. Attention: The cap should not be put in the dishwasher.
When cleaning by hand, we recommend using a bottle brush made of foam or natural bristles. With this, coarser dirt can be removed and rinsed with clear water.

All BWT carafes made of glass can be put in the dishwasher for cleaning. However, the lid is not dishwasher safe and should be cleaned regularly by hand with warm water and a little detergent.
In general, we recommend washing the carafe by hand to maintain the longevity of the product.
If you clean the BWT glass carafe by hand, we recommend using a bottle brush made of foam or natural bristles. This can be used to remove coarser dirt and rinse with clear water. A bottle brush can also be used to reach the bottom of the bottle.

The protective cap can be removed by turning and can be cleaned separately. Afterwards, simply screw it back on.

The carafe is made of high-quality mouth-blown glass and to ensure that the lid fits well, the silicone lip must be very tight. Putting the lid on by wetting the seal or "twisting" the lid in allows for easy handling after filling the carafe.
Yes, the silicone ring on the lid can be removed. We recommend removing the silicone ring when cleaning the glass carafe, especially when cleaning in the dishwasher, so that no food residues can collect underneath. After cleaning, the ring must be put back on the lid so that nothing can spill out next to the lid when pouring.
Yes, the BWT glass carafe can be placed in the cooling compartment of a standard refrigerator to cool the drinks. It should not be placed in the freezer.
