How is a BWT Water Filter Constructed?

The BWT table water filter goes through a 4-stage filtration process during magnesium mineralization:

Particle Filtration (Inlet): This stage removes coarse particles. Particles larger than 200 µm are effectively filtered out.
Ion Exchange Process: In this phase, calcium and heavy metal ions are exchanged for magnesium and hydrogen ions. This protects against limescale while simultaneously increasing the magnesium content in the water.
Activated Carbon Filtration: Activated carbon reduces chlorine and organic contaminants such as herbicides and pesticides. This step is crucial for improving taste and removing substances that affect the flavor.
Particle Filtration (Outlet): A final filtration step ensures the removal of remaining particles, guaranteeing that the water is pure and clear.

Particle filtration is the first and last step in the filtration process. It ensures that all visible and invisible particles larger than 200 µm are removed from the water, further enhancing the clarity of the water.
