The FIS Alpine Ski World Cup attracts millions of fans each year through on-site attendance, global broadcast coverage and digital platforms. As part of the agreement, BWT and Windhager will benefit from high-impact visibility across key touchpoints, including bib branding, start areas and prominent in-venue advertising placements along the course and in finish areas. The agreement also marks a further step in BWT’s broader sports sponsorship strategy, expanding its presence in winter sports and building on existing international activations.
BWT will reinforce its position as a leading global water technology company through its distinctive pink branding, while Windhager will highlight its sustainable heating solutions and mission of delivering “clean heating” through innovative technologies.
Andreas Weissenbacher, CEO of BWT and Windhager said: “Alpine skiing stands for performance, precision and innovation at the highest level. These are exactly the values that define both BWT and Windhager. Through our engagement in the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, we are strengthening the international positioning of our brands, reinforcing our ‘For You and Planet Blue’ mission, and leveraging a platform with strong global reach in our key markets.”
Michael Witta, Senior Vice President Marketing Sales & Services at Infront added: “BWT and Windhager are two internationally successful companies committing to the Alpine Ski World Cup. The combination of global reach, emotional storytelling and strong media exposure makes the World Cup an ideal platform for both brands, and our experienced implementation teams will support BWT and Windhager to use their partnership to its full potential.”
The season will begin on 14 November in Levi, Finland, marking the start of a campaign focused on performance, innovation and global visibility.
