Building on a partnership that began in early 2024 and driven by a shared ambition to push boundaries, BWT continues its journey with Phantom Global Racing into the new season. For Windhager, this marks the first year alongside the Asian racing team – an important milestone in the brand’s motorsport engagement and global presence.
Following the livery launch in February and successful preseason testing, Phantom Global Racing is ready to go racing. Two Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars will line up in the globally established BWT PINK, paired with the bold Windhager RED, a striking combination that reflects the strength and character of the partnership.
The season begins in mid-March at the Shanghai International Circuit before taking the team across Asia, with races in China, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore. The driver lineup blends experience and fresh energy: Yan Chuang (China) joins to compete in the Amateur category, while Marcus Amand (Finland) embarks on his first full season with the team, racing in the Pro category as part of the Junior Program.
As the market leader in water treatment, BWT – Best Water Technology – delivers advanced solutions across the entire water cycle, from drinking water and highest-quality water for injection (WFI) used in pharmaceutical and biotech industries to water treatment solutions for heating, boiling, and cooling systems as well as swimming pools. Driven by its vision to “Change the World – sip by sip,” BWT’s signature PINK symbolizes innovation, responsibility, and positive change, inspiring a new lifestyle of hydration. Through motorsport, BWT brings this vision to life on a global stage, promoting greater awareness of sustainable water consumption. Through its products and technologies, BWT mineralizes local water and enriches it with valuable minerals such as Magnesium, Zinc and Silicate, reducing single-use plastic and glass bottles as well as CO₂ emissions from transport.
This approach is complemented by Windhager – Best Heating Technology, a pioneer in advanced heating solutions. With WindhagerNXT, Windhager highlights its next generation of heat pump solutions – defined by high energy efficiency, forward-thinking technology, and reduced CO₂ emissions. The unmistakable bold RED translates this sustainable mindset into a clear visual statement, reflecting Windhager’s real-world impact with Purest Heating
Together with Phantom Global Racing, BWT and Windhager carry their shared ambition into the next era of racing, where performance meets responsibility and innovation drives progress both on and off the track. Two brands. One team. One clear mission: For You and Planet Blue.
“Motorsport is a powerful platform for BWT to showcase how sustainable water solutions can make a global impact. As we enter the new Porsche Carrera Cup Asia season with Phantom Global Racing, we reaffirm our commitment to combining top-level performance with environmental responsibility. Together with Windhager and its forward-thinking heating and energy solutions, we underline that technological innovation is key to shaping a more sustainable future. For You and Planet Blue,” says Anna Grubeck, Head of Sportsponsoring BWT.
“Having Marcus join Phantom Global Racing in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia while also competing in Porsche Supercup with BWT Lechner Racing under the BWT colors is a great step for everyone involved. His appointment as Porsche Junior underlines the level of talent and professionalism he brings to the program. For us, this is more than a driver announcement – it reflects the confidence placed in Phantom Global Racing as a competitive platform in Asia and the strength of the collaboration between Porsche, BWT, and our team. We are proud to see the BWT PINK represented across both championships and excited to support his development while pushing for strong results throughout the season.”, says Antoine Bruneel, Commercial and Communication Director Phantom Global Racing.
The new season stands at the starting line, with BWT PINK and Windhager RED setting the pace.
