Over the past two years, the Best Water Run has grown into a global move­ment. Launched as part of World Water Day, it has a clear mission: Raising aware­ness about the global water crisis. In many parts of the world, people still don’t have easy access to clean drinking water from a tap. Often, the nearest water source is an average of 6 kilo­me­ters away – a distance that many people have to walk every single day to collect fresh water. With the Best Water Run, we’re not only raising aware­ness – we’re sending out a powerful message. 100% of the dona­tions raised through the run go directly toward building new drinking water wells in Africa. At the Best Water Run 2025, 10,291 partic­i­pants from 35 coun­tries came together. We covered more than 60,000 kilo­me­ters – and raised over €60,000 to fund new well projects.
