There are many filters – but not all of them ensure long-term, reliable and hygienic drinking water quality. Backwash filters only work optimally when they are cleaned regularly and thoroughly. In practice, however, this step is often neglected: too complicated, too time-consuming, too much water consumption, too inconvenient. The result: deposits, particles in the water and hygienic risks in domestic installations.
BWT has developed a simple yet ingenious solution: the BWT MACH filter – the latest generation of proven BWT backwash filters with patented RIB (Rotary Impulse Backwash) technology. This innovative technology cleans the durable stainless steel filter element particularly intensively and extremely water-efficiently. One simple turn is all it takes – and drinking water hygiene is restored to top level.

Backwashing in record time – hygienic, safe, clean

Operating the MACH filter could not be easier:

• Turn the filter housing 90° – backwashing starts automatically
• Release – backwashing stops automatically
• Within seconds, the filter mesh is freed from even the finest particles

The full-opening valve design guarantees thorough, hygienic cleaning. The integrated viewing window allows continuous monitoring of the filter element.

Intelligent design for every installation situation

The MACH impresses not only in operation, but also during installation:

• With the new BWT HydroMODUL (for sizes 1", DN20, DN25, DN32), the filter can be installed within seconds – dock, turn, secure (click!) – done
• Flexible use, even in confined spaces or in vertical pipe installations (backward compatible with existing BWT HydroMODUL)
• Filter head and connection module made of lead-free brass – durable and sustainable
• Optional connection to DN 50 drain or DN 8 siphon

For installations that also require pressure regulation, the MACH is available as an HWS version with integrated pressure reducing valve. The preset outlet pressure saves up to 30% water and can be easily adjusted using the stylish handwheel.
