Building on their established cooperation, BWT and Windhager once again join forces with the renowned Austrian racing company Lechner Racing – one of the most successful teams in international Porsche one-make racing. The partnership brings together three Austrian companies with a strong global presence. With BWT continuing as title sponsor, the collaboration with Windhager takes the next step in 2026 with a shared BWT–Windhager livery, combining the globally recognized BWT PINK with Windhager’s bold RED.
The driver lineup reflects both proven performance and emerging talent. Robert de Haan continues his successful journey with BWT Lechner Racing. After securing the Rookie Championship in 2024 and finishing second overall in the 2025 season, the young Dutch driver enters the new campaign as one of the leading title contenders. Racing with car number 1, he will once again compete in the iconic BWT PINK race suit and helmet. Caleb Sumich from Australia joins the team’s lineup, representing Windhager in bold RED race gear. Completing the lineup is Finnish driver Marcus Amand, who joins the team as the Porsche Junior 2026, bringing fresh ambition and determination.

From early June to September, the championship features seven race weekends alongside selected European Formula 1 Grands Prix. Driving identical Porsche 911 Cup 992.2 cars, the field competes in tightly contested races where performance, engineering precision, and team strategy ultimately determine success. The season opens in Monaco and concludes with the traditional Grand Finale in Monza.

As the market leader in water treatment, BWT – Best Water Technology – delivers advanced solutions across the entire water cycle, from drinking water and highest-quality water for injection (WFI) used in pharmaceutical and biotech industries to water treatment solutions for heating, boiling, and cooling systems as well as swimming pools. Driven by its vision to “Change the World – sip by sip,” BWT’s signature PINK symbolizes innovation, responsibility, and positive change, inspiring a new lifestyle of hydration. Through motorsport, BWT brings this vision to life on a global stage, promoting greater awareness of sustainable water consumption. Through its products and technologies, BWT mineralizes local water and enriches it with valuable minerals such as Magnesium, Zinc, and Silicate, reducing single-use plastic and glass bottles as well as CO₂ emissions from transport.

This approach is complemented by Windhager – Best Heating Technology, a pioneer in advanced heating solutions. With WindhagerNXT, Windhager highlights its next generation of heat pump solutions – defined by high energy efficiency, forward-thinking technology, and reduced CO₂ emissions. The unmistakable bold RED translates this sustainable mindset into a clear visual statement, reflecting Windhager’s real-world impact with Purest Heating.

Together with BWT Lechner Racing, BWT and Windhager bring their shared ambition to the next chapter of racing – where performance meets responsibility and innovation drives progress both on and off the track. Two brands. One team. One clear mission: For You and Planet Blue.

“Motorsport is a powerful platform for BWT to demonstrate how sustainable water solutions can create global impact and drive positive change. As we enter the new Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season, we are proud to collaborate with our long-standing partner BWT Lechner Racing, which shares Austrian roots and a strong international outlook. Together with Windhager and its forward-looking heating and energy solutions “Made in Austria”, we emphasize that innovation and strong partnerships are key to shaping a more sustainable future – on and off the track. For You and Planet Blue,” says Anna Grubeck, Head of Sports Sponsoring BWT.

„Lechner Racing is proud of its long-standing reputation for developing young talent and producing more champions than anyone else in the Porsche Supercup paddock. Personally, I am thrilled to welcome Robert de Haan back and to introduce two more future winners, Marcus Amand and Caleb Sumich, to the BWT Lechner Racing family. I am sure we do have a very strong line-up for the upcoming season,“ says Robert Lechner, Team Principal BWT Lechner Racing.
