Before the self-dosing can is placed in the skimmer, all you have to do is remove the practical, unscrewable lid. No contact with the tablet is necessary! For 40 m³ pool content, one can of BWT BENAMIN® Ultra Clear MAX 600 gr lasts approximately three to four weeks. The super formula of BWT BENAMIN® Ultra Clear MAX 600 gr guarantees crystal clear swimming pool water with extremely reduced chlorine use and significantly less chlorine odour.

Generally speaking, no, the BENAMIN Ultra Clear MAX contains all the components of required pool chemicals and doses them independently for optimum hygienic and crystal-clear BWT pool water.

To dose water care products correctly, it is important to know the exact amount of water (m³) in the pool. This can be calculated as follows:

Rectangular pool: length (m) x width (m) x average water depth (m) = pool capacity (m³)
Round pool: Diameter (m) x diameter (m) x average water depth (m) x 0.78 = pool capacity (m³)
Oval pool: Max. Length (m) x Width (m) x Average water depth (m) x 0.89 = Pool capacity (m³)
Octagonal or freeform pools: Max. Length (m) x max. width (m) x average water depth (m) x 0.85 = pool capacity (m³)

The algicide content in the BENAMIN Ultra Clear MAX preventively prevents algae growth in your pool. This prevents unsightly green deposits in the form of green algae in your pool and pool water. All BWT Algicides are foam-free and therefore also suitable for counter-current systems. In case of very strong algae infestation of the pool with greenish water and deposits, a shock chlorination is to be carried out (with running circulation) and then preventively use e.g. BWT Algicid.

The skimmer here is the most central and best place to position the Ultra Clear MAX, either with the lid open or with the lid drilled several times to obtain even water circulation.
If you don't have a skimmer, there is still the option of placing the Ultra Clear MAX in our BWT dosing float and adding it directly to the pool or, in the case of pools with circulation channels, to the equalisation tank.

The proportion of flocculation in the Ultra Clear MAX binds the smallest dirt particles (sand, dust, sweat, etc.) in your pool into larger particles. These can be better caught by your sand filter, making your pool water clearer, more hygienic and cleaner. The flocculant needs a pH range of 7.0 to 7.4 to be able to develop its effect optimally. You should adjust the pH value in the pool before using the BENAMIN Ultra Clear MAX with BWT pH-Minus or BWT pH-Plus granulate.
