The AQA therm SRC salt-reducing cartridge is to be installed in the AQA therm HES reduces both limescale and water constituents that cause corrosion. In addition to this water treatment measure, attention must also be paid to the correct planning, installation, commissioning and operation of the heating system in accordance with the relevant standards or the BWT specifications.

The AQA therm SRC must be replaced when the cartridge capacity is below 10 % according to the "Smart" setup, then the service LED starts flashing yellow. If the cartridge is exhausted or if the cartridge has been in use for longer than 5 years, the service indicator flashes red and emits a beep.
