We recommend cleaning the bottle by hand. Of course, the body of the bottle is also dishwasher-safe. However, detergents reduce the life of the material. The cap with hand strap should be cleaned by hand with warm water and mild detergent.

Cleaning advice: Cleaning by hand is recommended. Of course, the body of the bottle is also dishwasher-safe. However, detergents may reduce the life of the material. The cap with hand strap should definitely be cleaned by hand with warm water and mild detergent.

If you clean the BWT glass bottle by hand, we recommend using a bottle brush made of foam or natural bristles. This can be used to remove coarser dirt and rinse with clear water. A bottle brush can also be used to reach the bottom of the bottle.

When cleaning in the dishwasher, it is recommended to turn the bottle upside down and place it in the middle of the dishwasher. There, the water jets reach the inside of the water bottle best.

Almost all BWT refill bottles can also be filled with carbonated drinks. The exception is the Thermos bottle, which is not suitable for carbonated drinks.

We recommend not filling the bottle all the way to the top and carefully twisting the screw cap open when opening to deaerate the bottle.

All glass and TritanTM bottles can be put in the dishwasher for cleaning. However, the lids of the bottles and the Thermos bottle are not dishwasher safe and should be cleaned regularly with warm water and a little detergent. In general, we recommend washing the bottles by hand to maintain the longevity of the product. Always store your bottles unsealed.

Yes, the BWT glass bottle can be placed in the cooling compartment of a standard refrigerator to cool the drinks. It should not be placed in the freezer.

Yes, the sleeve can be removed from the bottle. We recommend removing the silicone sleeve when cleaning the glass bottle, especially when cleaning in the dishwasher, so that no food residues can collect underneath.
