The BWT AQUAlizer table water filter brings the latest aesthetics and technology into your home. Thanks to the patented BWT filter technology, the elegant, puristically designed table water filter ensures high drinking water quality and the best taste. The Silicate + Magnesium Mineralized filter cartridges included in the set support the natural beauty and mental freshness right up to high age.

Product Note: We use natural silicates and minerals in our Silicate Mineralized Water cartridge.

We would like to point out that due to transport, abrasion of these materials may occur, which is released into the water at the beginning of the filter life. Particularly the first two litres may therefore be cloudy. The turbidity released is completely harmless. For optical reasons, we recommend that you discard the first 2-3 litres until the water is clear.

Uncomplicated handling.

Simply insert the BWT filter cartridge of your choice into the table water filter, pour in water directly from the tap and wait for about five minutes. After that, the entire filtered content is available for further use.

The technical highlight

The electronic LED display "Baselight" reminds you in good time to change the filter cartridge by means of a coloured light in the base of the table water filter:

Pink = full filter capacity.
Blue= cartridge must be replaced

The battery can be changed independently at any time.

Quite simply without effort, without swallowing tablets - just by drinking water.

By using the BWT filter cartridge "BWT Silicate + Magnesium Mineralized Water", an overdose of silicon is not possible. A significant advantage of this filter cartridge is that the supply of silicon and magnesium is gently distributed throughout the day. The BWT technology is not comparable with high-dosage tablets, which can lead to an excess at certain points.

As a guideline, a daily requirement of approx. 20-50 mg of silicon can be assumed. The human body needs around 300-400 mg of magnesium every day.

We work with a mixture of silicate, minerals and activated carbon. This increases the silicate content of the water. The activated carbon used reduces taste-disturbing substances (chlorine) and organic impurities.

The BWT Silicate + Magnesium Mineralised Water filter cartridge contains silicon in its natural form. This makes it not only a drinking pleasure, but also supports you in maintaining normal skin, hair and nails. The silicon enriched water supports your natural beauty and mental freshness into old age. The filter cartridge enriches the water with valuable minerals - ideal for upgrading soft, softened water.

We use natural silicates and minerals in our Silicate Mineralized Water cartridge. We would like to point out that abrasion of these materials can occur due to transport, which is released into the water at the beginning of the filter life. The first two litres in particular can therefore be cloudy. The turbid substances released are completely harmless. For optical reasons, we nevertheless recommend discarding the first 2-3 litres until the water is clear.

Before using the BWT table water filter system for the first time or after replacing the filter cartridge, you should clean the jug, funnel and lid with washing-up liquid and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agent or a scouring pad, as this may leave scratch marks on the BWT table water filter. The jug and funnel are dishwasher-safe. The lid must not be washed in the dishwasher.

In order to achieve the best possible performance of the filter, we recommend soaking the new filter cartridge in tap water for five minutes and then pouring this water away.

Then insert the new filter cartridge into the funnel of the table water filter system with slight pressure.

If the table water filter is equipped with the automatic "Easy-Fill" filling system in the lid, the lid does not need to be removed when filling. The "Easy-Fill" system opens automatically when the water jet hits the opening and closes automatically after filling.

Please pour away the first filtered water filling and fill the BWT table water filter system again. Initially, there may be fine black particles in the water. This is completely harmless activated carbon that is flushed out of the filter. In this case, we recommend refilling until the water is clear and free of particles.

The BWT table water filter system is now ready to use.

Model A

The Easy-Control counts the number of fillings and the duration of use exactly and reminds you to change the filter cartridge by flashing the display.

Please note that the Easy-Control displays the number of fillings (the volume of the funnel varies depending on the BWT table water filter system) and not how many litres of water have been filtered.

However, the filter cartridge should be changed after four weeks at the latest, even if the capacity of the filter cartridge - i.e. the number of fillings - has not yet been reached. The flashing of the Easy-Control indicator tells you this.

Model B

The "Easy-Control" counts the usage time (28 days) and reminds you to change the filter cartridge by flashing the indicator.

Commissioning

After the first start-up of the table water filter, the change indicator flashes. Press and hold the push button for three seconds. The display then automatically sets itself to 100% and the "Easy-Control" is now ready for use.

Counting function

After the first seven days of use, the first bar on the display goes out - this means there is still 75% of the usage time left. After another 14 days, the second bar goes out - half the power has been used. If the third bar disappears after 21 days, 25% power is still available.

Changing the filter cartridge

After 28 days, the maximum usage time has been reached. The indicator starts flashing. It is now necessary to change the filter cartridge. After inserting the new filter cartridge, please press the push button for 3 seconds. The counter then automatically sets itself to 100%.

Model C

With the manual change indicator, the date for the next filter cartridge change can be set manually. The filter cartridge should be changed after four weeks at the latest.

The manual change indicator consists of two rotating rings. The upper ring indicates the day, the lower ring the month.

The date for changing the filter cartridge can be set by turning the rings so that the month and day of the change are facing up.

No, neither the table water filter nor the filter cartridges are made of plastics that release plasticisers such as BPA into the water. This is strictly monitored through migration tests by independent institutes.
