High Purity Water for Dental Practices

"Not having to worry about running out of purified water is a huge relief when running a busy dental practice." Felicity Murray, Purley Dental Practice

About the Company

Andrew and Elaine Paice acquired the practice in 1987, and it later became Purley Dental Practice Ltd in 2007. Fundamentally a family dental practice, Purley Dental Practice is committed to providing professional dental care for patients of all ages in a comfortable environment with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The practice also places strong emphasis on maintaining high hygiene and compliance standards to support safe and efficient daily operations.

The challenge:

Purley Dental Practice relied on bottled deionised water for its sterilisation processes. This method was both costly and time-consuming, requiring regular collection, storage and handling. The practice was looking for a more efficient and cost-effective way to produce high-quality water in-house while maintaining compliance with required standards.

The solution:

BWT supplied and installed a BWT Thero 90 Pro, an in-house water purification system that produces high-quality deionised water directly from a mains water supply. The system enables the practice to collect purified water straight from a tap, removing the need for bottled water and manual handling.

The result:

By switching to the BWT Thero 90 Pro, Purley Dental Practice has significantly improved operational efficiency. The practice now benefits from a convenient, reliable and consistent supply of purified water; reducing costs and saving valuable staff time. The solution supports ongoing compliance, protects sterilisation equipment and simplifies day-to-day workflows.
