The NP1 filter housing is manu­fac­tured from heavy duty plastic and has been designed to be fitted on cold water supply only. The Filter housing can be used singu­larly or in pairs along with a variety of filter cartridges to provide more complex water solu­tions. The wide range of filter cartidges avail­able make them ideal for whole house or as a pre-​filter for single appli­ance protec­tion . The housing is supplied with out a filter cartridge allowing the installer to choose the right one to match the local water condi­tions:

The filter housing is manu­fac­tured from tough and durable polypro­p­lene, however care should be taken not to over­tighten fittings and to ensure the instal­la­tion is adequately supported and aligned to prevent unec­es­sary strain on the housing or fittings. The housing should always be used with an appro­priate filter cartridge. When installing or changing a cartridge the housing should be isolated and any pres­sure released before starting work.

Once isolated on both sides of the housing any residual pres­sure can be released using the button top of the head.
